Verily. A magazine without photoshop.

I personally don’t understand why magazines alter images of people so much to where they don’t look like people. Is fake plastic looking skin more attractive than real skin? Not only do magazines correct blemishes and lighting with photoshop, they also alter the shape of the model’s face and body.

Verily Magazine wanted to be different by not using Photoshop in altering the appearance of models in their photos. I hope that the success of Verily will inspire other publications to follow the same path.
