Jell-o for brains

A few weeks ago I purchased a brain mold and I finally got around to putting some Jell-o in it. Once the Jell-o solidified, I wasn’t sure how to get it out. Helpful people of the internet said to keep the mold in hot water for about 30 seconds and then it will plop right out. I had to do it twice, because the water wasn’t hot enough the first time. The Jell-o was sliding out of the mold very slowly, so I (stupidly) tried to look under the mold and the Jell-o just plopped out! It created a splash because the mold was too far from the plate. I was annoyed at myself at first, but the splash makes it look like blood so I’m happy with it. Here is the result.

Pretty gruesome. Oh I failed to mention that there are about two cups of tequila in this Jell-o brain.

Ingredients:

Strawberry and Raspberry Jell-o brand gelatin.

4 cups of boiled water
2 cups of cold water
2 cups of tequila

I am thinking of adding some Jell-o worms to complete the gruesomeness.
